Yasmin Bashirova
Yasmin Bashirova is the Chief of Staff at Shift Technologies, Inc., an e-commerce startup on a mission to bring trust and simplicity to the peer-to-peer used car market.
She graduated from Stanford University with an M.S. and B.S. in Energy Resource Engineering. After graduation, Ms. Bashirova worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York City, where she provided data-driven financial analyses for capital decisions such as M&A deals, IPOs, and LBOs.
Combining her engineering and finance background, she delivers data-driven results for projects in finance, product, and marketing sectors at Shift. Yasmin Bashirova’s top skills include research, data analysis, economics, and strategic leadership. She also speaks four languages, including Azerbaijani, French, Russian, and English. Looking forward, she is especially interested in applying her background and skills towards the A.I. space.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Yasmin Bashirova is passionate about human rights issues, international policy, and foreign affairs. In college, she volunteered for Model United Nations and U.S. Mexico Forum for Solidarity, Understanding, and Cooperation. In the light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ms. Bashirova started working as Director of Finance for a medical device company called Fix The Mask. Yasmin is also passionate about paving the way for women in tech and finance to grow and become executives at a young age.
